Engineered for Ethylene Safety
Ethylene (C₂H₄) is an extremely flammable gas with explosive limits of 2.7%–36.0% in air and an auto-ignition temperature of 440°C. Every Ever-Power ethylene compressor is purpose-built to eliminate ignition risks and ensure safe, reliable operation in hazardous environments.
Explosion-Proof Electrical System
All motors, switches, and control panels meet ATEX Zone 1/2 and IECEx standards. Copper-free aluminum enclosures prevent spark generation. Every electrical component is sealed to contain internal explosions and prevent flame propagation.
Static Electricity Elimination
Full electrostatic grounding and bonding across all piping, vessels, and compressor components. Conductive gaskets and anti-static coatings prevent charge accumulation. Ethylene flow velocities are controlled below ignition thresholds.
Temperature Monitoring & Control
Multi-point infrared temperature sensors monitor cylinder wall, discharge gas, and bearing temperatures in real time. Automatic shutdown triggers if any temperature approaches 80% of ethylene's auto-ignition threshold. Water-jacket cooling maintains safe operating margins.
Gas Leak Detection & Alarm
Fixed catalytic bead and infrared gas detectors continuously monitor for ethylene concentrations. Dual-level alarm system: first alarm at 20% LEL triggers ventilation boost; second alarm at 40% LEL initiates emergency shutdown and nitrogen purge.
Nitrogen Purge & Inerting
Automated nitrogen purge system displaces ethylene from compressor internals before maintenance access. Seals and packings are inerted during standby. Dry nitrogen buffer prevents air ingress and explosive mixture formation inside the compression chamber.
Non-Sparking Construction
All rotating and stationary parts use spark-resistant materials. Bronze and Monel alloy components prevent ferrous spark generation. Valve plates and springs are manufactured from non-ferrous metals to eliminate frictional ignition risks during ethylene compression.
Pressure Relief & Surge Protection
Redundant pressure relief valves vent to a safe flare system. Anti-surge control valves prevent compressor stall and reverse flow that could create explosive pressure spikes. Discharge pressure is limited to 60% of ethylene's critical pressure for maximum safety margin.
Remote Monitoring & PLC Safety Logic
SIL-rated programmable logic controller executes safety interlocks with <100ms response time. Remote HMI displays real-time gas concentration, temperature, and pressure data. Automatic data logging supports incident investigation and compliance auditing.
All Ever-Power ethylene compressors comply with ATEX 2014/34/EU, ISO 9001, and API 618 standards. Contact our engineering team for hazard area classification and custom safety system design.

Selecting the right compression technology based on your gas type, pressure requirements, and operational conditions
Reciprocating Compressor
Piston-Driven TechnologyDelivers discharge pressures up to 300+ bar, ideal for high-pressure gas filling and chemical injection processes.
Stepless capacity adjustment from 0% to 100% via variable speed or clearance pocket control.
Handles corrosive, toxic, and high-molecular-weight gases (ethylene, LPG, HF, acetylene) without performance degradation.
Maintains superior isothermal efficiency even at low flow rates, reducing energy waste during fluctuating demand.
ATEX-certified configurations with flameproof motors and non-sparking materials for Zone 1/2 hazardous areas.
Dry-running piston rings and PTFE seals ensure zero oil contamination for food-grade and medical gas applications.
Centrifugal Compressor
Impeller-Driven TechnologyHandles continuous flow rates from 500 to 200,000+ m³/h, optimal for large-scale pipeline and refinery operations.
Single-stage impeller design occupies 40% less floor space than equivalent reciprocating units for the same flow.
Only 2–4 major overhauls over a 20-year lifespan, with no valves, piston rings, or packing glands to replace.
Dynamic compression with no lubricant contact, delivering ISO 8573-1 Class 0 oil-free gas for sensitive processes.
Continuous duty capability with 99.8% uptime, designed for 3–5 years of uninterrupted operation between overhauls.
Rotodynamic operation generates minimal pulsation, eliminating the need for bulky pulsation dampeners and acoustic enclosures.
